We are rapidly approaching the advent of the 2018 model year here at Jeremy Franklin Mitsubishi, which is an incredibly exciting thing considering some of the changes and updates we’ve got on the horizon over the course of the next six to 12 months. One new crossover already has generated a lot of positive buzz, while another mainstay is getting all sorts of exciting new updates. It really is going to be a great year!
First and foremost, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, which debuted at the New York Auto Show back in the spring, has been redesigned up front and in the back with the inclusion of LED running lights, while the interior gets a new 7-inch Smartphone Link display just like its larger non-Sport sibling. The new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport also gets a new shift lever, floor console and Alloy Silver paint job, and there’s also a new Touring trim, which adds several new safety features and a panoramic sunroof.
The real excitement this model year comes thanks to the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, a brand new all-wheel drive sporty crossover that diversifies the brand’s offerings a bit. Everything about this model is brand new, which means a sleek, strong exterior and a completely modernized, technologically-advanced interior that features touchscreen infotainment control, Apple CarPlay integration, voice controls and a head-up display. It’s a great looking car, and it absolutely takes Mitsubishi into 2018 with a flourish of style we’re very excited about.
As your Lee’s Summit, MO Mitsubishi dealer, we’re thrilled about what’s coming this model year, particularly in terms of these two great crossovers. Keep your eyes peeled for their arrival in the coming months, and we look forward to taking Independence, MO drivers out for test drives soon!
