Kansas City, MO is an amazing place to visit, but for people who actually live in town, for those non-tourists looking to catch a Royals game or grab some Gates BBQ, it can be easy to feel a little restless sometimes, especially when summer comes around and Blue Springs, MO Mitsubishi drivers get the itch to see some other great nearby attractions.
Your Mitsubishi vehicles are great for day trips, and thankfully there are plenty of awesome ones right in this neck of the country. Here a few of our favorite suggestions here at Jeremy Franklin Mitsubishi:
Lawrence, KS – There’s plenty to do in the town that serves as home to the University of Kansas. On campus, visitors can see bits of the World Trade Center, or they can head over to the Natural History Museum to see all kinds of great historical artifacts, including stuff from the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.
Atchison, KS – From haunted trolley tours to the birthplace of Amelia Earhart, there’s plenty to see in Atchison. The Victorian Evah C. Cray Historical Home Museum also apparently is haunted, meaning this could make for one spooky (and fun!) day trip in your Mitsubishi Outlander or Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
Excelsior Springs, MO – If the town’s name sounds like a brand of bottled water, you’re not crazy. Excelsior Springs have been known for its natural springs for over a century, and to this day visitors can experience their healing power by visiting the Art Deco Excelsior Springs Hall of Waters and Cultural Museum.
Each of these is within reasonable driving distance for your new or used Mitsubishi car, so get out there this summer and enjoy the rest of what Missouri and Kansas have to offer! While you’re out and about, stop by Jeremy Franklin Mitsubishi to say hello and check out our selection of vehicles!
